Not only can they sing, but you can tell that they posess such a talent for the music business as in writing, arranging, and it comes so naturally for them, as if they dont even really have to try.

I'm listening to the new Kelly Clarkson album. It doesn't suck, despite all the hoopla with firing her manager and fighting with Clive Davis. There are lots of fun rock songs and some listenable ballads (the ones that are there have a tendency toward being quirky, which I like). The album also manages to avoid the scourge of the rock album: the mid-tempo rock song. Kelly's songs are all "dance your ass off" or "sing it in the shower." Nothing falls into the category of too-fast-to-couples-dance-but-too-slow-to-dance-alone, which is good. I hate those.
