The Gender Predictor Necklace Test

ModelMom's picture

I have heard of this test before from my mom and grandma and then my best friend did the necklace test on me 2 weeks ago .....it is supposed to predict how many kids you have or are gonna have and the genders.

This is how it goes:

You take a chain with a pendant on it and hold it above one of your hands palm up. Let the pendant (it can be anything, a crystal, cross, diamond, charm, etc.) dangle aboe your palm and it it moves back & forth in a ticking motion it means boy, if it swings around in a circle it is a girl. You can do it to yourself or have someone else do it. Supposedly the pendant picks up your energy. Once you do it one time, dip the necklace donw and away from your palm then raise it back up and do it again to see if you are having more than one child and what sex it will be.

For me it said one boy then one girl and then stopped. I have a son.....so it'll be intersting to see if there is a little girl in our future. I know this test should just be done for fun....but the fact that it has been accurate for som many people is pretty interesting!

Also, my husband though I was crazy when I told him about it and when I showed him he thought I was moving the necklace (you hold it still...it moves by itself!) until he tried it on me then he was trippin'! LOL Then I tried it on him and it gave him the same results! Whoah.....

Interesting...

I'd only heard of doing that on pregnant women, not to see how many kids you will have.

It kind of reminds me of the Ouiji board. Is nobody moving it? Is everybody moving it? Hmmmm.

lol, never worked on me. I

lol, never worked on me. I did read another way to predict your own gender. I can't remember which now I want to say a boy is right after your period, a girl is right before.

The Shettles method

Dr. Shettles came up with a detailed method that includes specific timing in order to have the child of a particular sex. My husband and I used it on our second child and we did get the gender we were hoping for - when our daughter is born in Nov. we will have one of each.
